Iron Man Competition

In 2006, the Auburn Composite Squadron created an event that would revolutionize the way CAP does competitive activities.  They developed a way to not only combine a competition with all members (cadets and seniors) from all squadrons, but also encompass the three missions of CAP: Aerospace Education, Emergency Services and Cadet Programs in a safe, yet challenging environment.  And so the CAP Iron Man Competition was born.

Today, the competition rotates around the Alabama Wing so that other squadrons get an opportunity to host the event.  Typically, the winning team of the previous year gets the first option to host.  This year, the Tuscaloosa Composite Squadron will be the host.  Below is important information about this year’s event.

CAP Iron Man Competition Mission Statement:  To incorporate the three missions of CAP into one competition involving all members in a safe, competitive, challenging, and fun environment.
